Hugo's Asian Tapas Menu

We have devised this menu so that you can sample a variety of true Asian flavours. The food is made for sharing, with dishes arriving at a leisurely pace.
They are best accompanied by our selection of international wines and our imported Asian beers.

Crispy golden Prawn & Crab Thai Fish Cakes
Our ‘house special’ & served with an aioli sauce: €3.95 per piece

Fragrant Coconut Spiced Lamb on Mini Poppadums
Topped with a drizzle of yoghurt & a spoonful of mango chutney: €2.45 for two pieces

Crisp-fried Vietnamese jumbo tiger panko prawns
Panko are Japanese style breadcrumbs, which give these fabulous juicy jumbo prawns a crunchy result when deep-fried. Served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce: €3.90 for two pieces

Japanese Seared Salmon Fillets
The salmon is marinated in spices & lime juice which tenderizes the fish beautifully. Seared on the grill and served with garlic & herb jasmine rice: €3.45 for two pieces

Vegetable Tempura & Dipping Sauce (V)
Tempura was introduced to Japan by Portuguese Traders in the 17th century. Light and crispy battered vegetables with a hot chilli dipping sauce: €2.25 per person

Marinated chicken stir fry with fresh vegetables & egg noodles drizzled with hoisin sauce: €3.45 per person

Thai Skewers of Fillet Beef with Green Chilli Sauce
This is an old Siamese dish as it is made with white peppercorns. White pepper was originally used in Asia to provide heat for spicy food before the Spanish & Portuguese transported chillies from South America to the East : €4.25 for two pieces

Soy Infused Tuna Bites
